Two hotels and two campsites in Germany received the award for the first time. Among those presented were:
- food hotel, Neuwied: photovoltaic system, focus on organic and regional products, fair-trade goods
- Boutique Hotel Kerlin, Berlin: 100% green electricity, recycled materials, extensive avoidance of plastic
- Campingplatz Drei Gleichen, Mühlberg: nature-oriented design, natural swimming pond, solar power supporting hybrid heating technology
- Hofgut Hopfenburg, Münsingen: sustainably designed from the very beginning, restored caravans, regional products, nature-based programme
Other recently certified businesses were also introduced, including Uhlenköper Camp & Hotel 11Eulen (Uelzen), Hotel Westkap (Wangerooge), and Destinature Dorf Südeifel (Ernzen).
