The tour kicks off with CosmeticBusiness on 10–11 June 2026 in Munich. This trade fair is considered a key meeting point for the cosmetics industry and its suppliers, focusing on the development, production, packaging and marketing of cosmetic products. More than 400 exhibitors and suppliers are expected in 2026. The programme is complemented by features such as the INNOVATION CORNER, the GREEN AREA, the SPOTLIGHT showcase for new products, and panel talks on current industry topics.
CosmeticBusiness is particularly relevant for the EU Ecolabel, as sustainability is becoming increasingly important in cosmetics and packaging development. Consumers are showing growing interest in reliable environmental labels, while companies are seeking credible guidance for more sustainable product solutions. This is exactly where the EU Ecolabel comes in—with transparent, ambitious environmental criteria and recognition across Europe.
Another highlight of the trade fair year is the SEPAWA Congress from 14 to 16 October 2026 in Berlin at the Estrel Congress Center. The congress is a major meeting point for the European detergents, cleaning products, cosmetics and perfumery industry. It combines international expert presentations, exhibition and networking. More than 300 companies and over 150 presentations are expected. For the EU Ecolabel, SEPAWA offers an ideal environment to engage with industry professionals, manufacturers and partners on environmentally friendly products, reliable labelling and the further development of sustainable markets. It is especially important for our license holders in detergents, cleaning products and related consumer markets as a platform for exchange and visibility.
In autumn, the tour continues to the KOMMUNAL trade fair on 18–19 November 2026 in Erfurt. The event is positioned as a leading trade fair for municipal policy, administration and innovation, targeting top decision-makers from cities, municipalities and municipal enterprises. According to the organiser, more than 140 exhibitors from 39 sectors will present their solutions, alongside 40 expert presentations on current municipal topics.
Sustainable procurement is becoming increasingly important in the municipal sector. For the EU Ecolabel, KOMMUNAL is therefore a key platform to engage with procurement professionals, public administrations and municipal institutions. At the same time, it offers license holders the opportunity to further highlight the relevance of credible environmental labelling in the public sector.
We look forward to meeting you at these three events in 2026, building new connections and further strengthening awareness of the EU Ecolabel among professionals and the wider public.
