What role does sustainability play in your company?
“Sustainability plays a very important role in our company. Cleaning chemicals have a broad impact — which makes it all the more important to develop and use demonstrably sustainable cleaning products. This is not only a central expectation we place on ourselves, but has also become a clear requirement from many of our customers and their end customers. We therefore see sustainability as a key success factor for the future of our industry.”
Certification Process
How did you experience the certification process?
“Overall, the path to certification was very demanding and extensive. In particular, the large number of required supporting documents resulted in a significant administrative burden. From our perspective, it would be helpful to introduce the option of supplementing digital raw material documentation from registered suppliers, instead of having to submit separate documents for each individual raw material.”
Were there any particular challenges – and how did you overcome them?
“The main challenge for us is adapting formulations in a way that balances performance and sustainability.”
